About Us:

WAAD Ventures Corporation is a fast-growing hospitality group based in Mississauga, Ontario. We own and operate multiple restaurant brands across Ontario, including our flagship Breakfast and Brunch Concept. As we continue to expand, we’re building a strong, passionate head office team to support our growth—and we’re looking for a motivated, hands‑on Marketing Director to join us.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Leadership
  • Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns for all brands under the company portfolio.
  • Monitor performance against goals and adjust strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Lead and guide the marketing team to achieve departmental targets and growth metrics.
  • Work closely with other departments to align marketing efforts with business objectives and client experience.
  • Communicate marketing strategies clearly across departments and external partners.
  • Develop corporate communication strategies and support public relations initiatives.
Market Intelligence, Research & Commercial Insights
  • Conduct ongoing market intelligence and competitive analysis across the hospitality and restaurant sector.
  • Analyze local demographics, customer behaviour, and geographic demand trends to support site marketing and targeting.
  • Monitor and report on industry trends, consumer preferences, seasonal demand patterns, and market shifts.
  • Track and benchmark key market players, competitors, and emerging concepts.
  • Provide insights to support:
    • Campaign targeting and messaging strategy
    • New store launch positioning
    • Menu innovation and product strategy
    • Pricing and promotional positioning
  • Collaborate with Operations and Business Development teams to:
    • Identify new revenue opportunities
    • Support partnership targeting
    • Support new market and location expansion strategies
  • Produce periodic market insight reports to support leadership decision‑making.
Brand & Online Presence Management
  • Oversee the enhancement and consistency of all brand identities across platforms.
  • Ensure continued improvement in the company’s digital presence, including websites, social media pages, and Google listings.
  • Monitor and evaluate social media and website performance metrics regularly.
Team Management & Content Oversight
  • Supervise content creators and social media specialists to ensure high‑quality, engaging, and brand‑aligned content.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Marketing team.
  • Review, approve, and provide feedback on marketing materials and campaigns.
Franchisee Collaboration
  • Serve as the main point of contact for franchisees regarding marketing initiatives.
  • Present marketing plans, gather feedback, and align strategies with franchisee goals to ensure cohesive execution.
Influencer & Media Relations
  • Overlook the relationship management with influencers, bloggers, and media outlets to drive brand exposure.
  • Coordinate outreach efforts and evaluate partnership performance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a marketing leadership role, preferably in a multi‑brand or franchise environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and content strategy.
  • Proven experience managing teams and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and commercial thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience using marketing analytics tools and reporting dashboards.
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Hospitality, restaurant, or retail marketing experience.
    • Understanding of local market demographics and consumer behaviour analysis.
    • Experience supporting business expansion or new location launches.
    • Knowledge of SEO, Google Business Profiles, and online reputation management.
