Marketing Coordinator

The Position

The Marketing Coordinator sits at the centre of a highly productive collection of marketing rock-stars and is involved in all facets of our efforts to bring Canada’s favourite wings to the masses. The Marketing Coordinator is solutions-oriented, prides themselves on strong attention to detail and organization, knows how to work with internal and external business partners, has excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of print production, managing processes and vendors, and knows how to take a growing brand to its fullest potential.

We are looking for someone with expertise in written and verbal communications, budget and marketing administration management, likes to engage in creative brainstorming and copywriting, enjoys project management, working with 3rd party vendors and strategic partners, loves food, hospitality, and making a difference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all incoming invoices and work with the Finance department to ensure vendors are paid
  • Work with the VP of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships to manage the annual marketing budget and annual marketing calendar
  • Manage workback schedules to ensure all projects remain on the right path and all deadlines are metManage the relationship with printer vendors and secure quotes, coordinate timing, traffic files, proof files, and ensure accurate delivery of assets to their destinations
  • Schedule and craft internal memos to communicate the important details of upcoming and ongoing promotions, menu launches, etc.
  • Assist with online reputation management tools where needed
  • Support all New Store Opening (NSO) efforts
  • Support all Local Store Marketing (LSM) efforts
  • Support the creation and production of all new St. Louis Bar & Grill menus, including online, food, alcohol, and takeout – all within prescribed timelines and budgets
  • Participate with the marketing team to ideate and brainstorm creative for all chain-wide campaigns
  • Manage the day-to-day business relationship with all off-premise third party platforms, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date; in addition to providing assistance to all restaurants in maximizing their sales potential
  • Support all off-premise events, including but not limited to, Annual Autism Awareness Fundraiser, and Annual Corporate Conference
  • Be ready to monitor and manage social media when required
Required Skills

  • Experience using MS Office is required and experience with Teams and Asana is beneficial
  • Proficiency in copywriting and strong language skills are an asset
  • Adaptable, energetic, and self-starting team player
  • Courteous & professional demeanor
  • Restaurant or equivalent industry experience is preferred, with QSR or fast-casual being highly desired.
Education
  • Marketing, Communications or Business Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years in a related marketing & communications role is desired
Job Type
  • Full-time, 12-month contract with potential for permanent employment post-contract.
