The Role

Cineflix Media is currently looking to fill the role of Marketing Coordinator in our Toronto office on a hybrid schedule. The Marketing Coordinator liaises with production and network teams on all production-related deliverables and manages the corporate website and the group’s subsidiary websites. The coordinator plays a key role in the planning of production press days, gallery, unit shoots, screenings, and promotional events. The role is also responsible for the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns for the company’s content and talent with a focus on developing and managing of social media plans with the creation of content, community engagement, amplification, cross-platform posting, and defining priority KPIs. The coordinator also supports direct-to-consumer channel marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities
Digital Marketing
  • Develop and execute social media strategies for show launches in collaboration with production, network, and agency teams.
  • Plan and coordinate on-set visits to capture social content.
  • Manage cross-platform social media strategies for YouTube and FAST channel brands.
  • Handle account setup, content creation (copy, images, videos), scheduling, audience engagement, analytics, and quarterly audits.
  • Oversee paid social ads, Reddit AMAs, and audience engagement campaigns.
  • Identify creator talent opportunities.
  • Manage artwork, metadata, and thumbnail approvals for FAST, AVOD, SVOD, and YouTube platforms.
  • Support corporate social media, including LinkedIn.
Corporate & Production Marketing
  • Coordinate production photo shoots: develop photo briefs, hire and manage photographers, oversee contracts, and handle deliverables, as well as approvals.
  • Organize press days, gallery shoots, and unit photography.
  • Manage IMDb pages, digital assets, and festival submission materials.
  • Using Canva and Photoshop, edit and format imagery, key art, and banners, as well as coordinate printing of promotional materials.
  • Maintain and update company and subsidiary websites via WordPress and oversee domain renewals.
  • Plan and execute events, screenings, and promotional activities.
Skills & Qualifications

· Proficient in WordPress and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Skilled in Canva and Photoshop with strong visual and design sense.

· Experience developing and executing social media strategies and copywriting.

· Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects.

· Event planning and coordination experience.
