The City of Mississauga is seeking a Marketing Consultant to join the City Events & Experiences marketing team. As part of the Strategic Communications and Initiatives division, you will collaborate to plan, develop, and deliver marketing and communications initiatives that enhance civic participation, promote public services, and foster community connection throughout Mississauga. This position reports to the Supervisor, Marketing City Events & Experiences.
You are a marketing professional who is passionate about creating integrated, evidence-based strategies that elevate municipal services, programs, and community-building initiatives. You understand how to translate public-sector priorities into compelling marketing campaigns that engage residents, build awareness, and support City-wide goals.
You thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment and bring creativity, composure, and strong communication skills to every project. You are comfortable interpreting evolving priorities, managing multiple stakeholders, and providing strategic recommendations that reflect community needs and municipal values.
Hourly Rate/Salary: $ 43.19 - $ 57.59
