Position Summary:

Position: Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Type: Full Time

Location: Head Office - Fort McKay, Alberta

Schedule: 40 Hours per week. Monday to Thursday (Alternating Friday off)

**This is a LOCAL position. Applicant must reside in the Fort McMurray Region or be willing to relocate at their own cost**

Role Summary:

Bouchier is looking for a creative and driven Marketing & Communications Coordinator to help us connect our teams, enhance our brand, and manage communication channels within the organization. This role reports to our Senior Marketing Manager and plays a key part in ensuring team members are informed, engaged and aligned through effective communication strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teams across People & Culture, HSE, and operational teams to support performance and culture.
  • Support planning and execution of internal events, town halls and team engagement activities.
  • Ensure consistent application of brand and visual identity guidelines across organization.
  • Support the development and maintenance of marketing and communication materials, including corporate brochures, presentations, and other visual materials.
  • Manage internal communication channels including digital signage and intranet.
  • Manage content calendar and contribute ideas that align with corporate strategy and priorities.
  • Create engaging content for both internal and external audiences.
  • Champion Bouchier’s intranet as a hub for news, resources and team member engagement.
  • Provide analytics and insights to improve communication effectiveness through the company and intranet.
  • Collaborate with various departments to efficiently coordinate communication planning for campaigns, special projects, and initiatives.
  • Support community investment initiatives, sponsorships and events (some evening/weekend work will be required).
Education & Experience:
  • Diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, English or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in a communications role within a business environment.
Skills:
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across digital and traditional media.
  • Experience with graphic design, social media, and multimedia content creation
  • Photography and/or videography experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications and/or Photoshop is an asset.
  • All applicants must have the ability to speak, read and write fluently in English
