Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Canada is seeking a Marketing Co-op to join the Surgery Canada Marketing team in Markham, Ontario. The term runs January to August 2027, full-time 40 hours per week, with hybrid work arrangements.

You will assist in managing portfolio brands, conduct data-driven insights, support launches, and collaborate with sales and KOLs to advance marketing plans.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate freshman year required to join program.
  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Economics, Marketing Analytics, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • GPA 2.4 or higher.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Integrated co-op undergraduate or graduate degree program.
  • Previous internship/work experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Medical Devices/Healthcare is an asset.
  • Strong time management and ability to handle ambiguity.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist managing assigned portfolio brands, designing and executing product lifecycle plans and strategies.
  • Gather insights and support marketing decisions through data analytics and market information.
  • Report on qualitative, quantitative, and competitive data related to portfolio.
  • Assist in the execution of strategies and tactics for projects and new product launches.
  • Attend periodical supply chain and finance meetings to manage forecasting and demand planning.
  • Support relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and customer insights initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales team for effective execution of marketing plans.
  • Handle internal and external ad-hoc requests.

You will be responsible:

Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Economics, Marketing Analytics, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • Pursing second, third, and fourth year of your bachelor's degreee.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.4 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
  • You should be legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Currently participating in an integrated co-op undergraduate or graduate degree program
  • Previous internship and/or relevant work experience is an asset
  • Knowledge and experience in Medical Devices and the Healthcare industry is an asset
  • You should be excited to tackle a challenge, seek ways to improve and learn, and solve problems creatively
  • Self-directed
  • The role is dynamic and fast paced, so time management, prioritization, and thriving through ambiguity are key abilities you possess
  • Strategy and data are at the core of everything we do, so strong critical thinking and analytical skills are required

The base pay for this position is Second Year $23.00/hr, Third Year $24.50/hr, Fourth Year $25.50/hr, Master’s degree $28.00/hr.
