The Marketing & Client Engagement Specialist will play a key role in modernizing the organization’s digital footprint. This includes managing and optimizing WordPress websites, improving SEO and Google Ads performance, refreshing content, and executing email and newsletter campaigns to drive cross-selling, referrals, and ongoing client engagement. This is a hands-on role with a strong upfront focus on updating, optimizing, and rebranding existing marketing assets.

In addition to marketing efforts this role will support client engagement; focused on generating and nurturing leads, strengthening brand presence, and supporting the client journey from first contact through onboarding. The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for leads, coordinating meetings for senior team members and ensuring prospects receive timely, professional communication.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

  • Manage and optimize WordPress-based websites, including content updates, layout improvements, and user experience enhancements.
  • Lead search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives and support paid advertising efforts such as Google Ads to improve visibility and lead generation.
  • Execute email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and client communications to promote services, support cross-selling, and encourage referrals.
  • Rebrand and adapt existing marketing materials to ensure consistency across platforms and alignment with current messaging.
  • Support social media activity, including LinkedIn content, posts, and engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of leads, outreach activity, and engagement progress to support reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with leadership on marketing strategy, client engagement initiatives, and process improvements.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for new leads by initiating outreach, responding to inquiries, sharing information, and coordinating meetings with senior team members.

Education:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is considered an asset.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including lead generation and client engagement strategies.
  • Hands-on experience working with WordPress websites and content management systems.
  • Working knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO), Google Ads, and email marketing tools.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and confidently with prospects and clients.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a digital marketing, marketing coordination, or client engagement role.
  • Proven experience with search engine optimization (SEO), Google Ads, and email marketing tools (Mailchimp, etc.).
  • Experience supporting lead generation initiatives and coordinating meetings or handoffs to senior stakeholders.
  • Background working in professional services, technology, or B2B environments is considered an asset.

Skills:

  • Digital Marketing Execution: Comfortable managing websites, campaigns, and marketing tools in a hands-on capacity.
  • Organization and Follow-Through: Strong ability to coordinate meetings, manage timelines, and ensure seamless handoffs.

Base Salary: 30.00 – 35.00 per hour

  • This role will transition to a salaried position upon permanent hire ranging between 65k-75k depending on experience and qualifications.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time hours.
  • Hybrid work environment.
  • In-office collaboration required one day per week, with additional in-person touchpoint meetings weekly or biweekly as needed.
