General Purpose: Cuso International is seeking an individual to join an International Volunteer programme focused on empowering women, girls, and vulnerable populations in Colombia.

The position supports our partner, Guardabosques de la Sierra, by enhancing its technical capacity in website management, social media, content creation, and organizational branding. The goal is to help the organization grow with high standards of quality and ethics, and to develop a comprehensive internal and external communication and marketing strategy that fosters an adaptive, innovative, and equitable organization.

Role of the E-Volunteer:

1. Design a communication and marketing strategy.
2. Assess and update the current website as needed.
3. Support social media creation and management.
4. Train the Guardabosques de la Sierra team in content creation for social networks.
5. Assist in creating shared content for internal communication via WhatsApp and other tools to strengthen community bonds.
6. Hold a university or postgraduate degree in relevant fields such as graphic design, visual communication, marketing, or related disciplines.

Essential Professional Experience:

1. Website design expertise.
2. Experience in social media strategy and implementation.
3. Proven ability to develop organizational communication strategies.
4. Experience working with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
5. Familiarity with participatory, systemic, and adaptive methodologies.

About E-Volunteering:

This program allows volunteers to work remotely with international partners, offering benefits similar to on-site volunteering while fitting into a regular schedule. Volunteers need basic home office equipment, reliable internet, and computer skills. Flexibility and patience are important due to potential connectivity issues and first-time experiences with remote volunteering.
