Job description

About the position: This position will be assigned to the 72d Force Support Squadron Marketing Office. This position is Regular Part-Time (RPT) with a minimum of 20 guaranteed hours per week.

Duties
  • Assists in developing, implementing and managing marketing programs and accounts for the Force Support Squadron.
  • Assists the Marketing Director in determining marketing techniques and strategies to increase efficiency, enhance participation and increase financial income to FSS activities.
  • Administers surveys, collects data, tabulates responses and assists Marketing Director in analyzing results.
  • Keeps the Marketing Director informed of consumer trends and their application to the activities.
  • Attends FSS events and provides constructive marketing feedback to the activity manager.
  • Assists in planning marketing campaigns designed to enhance participation in FSS activities by considering the characteristics of the target audience and the media mix necessary to reach them.
  • Assists the Marketing Director in developing communication strategies to determine the most effective advertising vehicles and appropriate media mix.
  • Provides or arranges for photographic support for FSS functions.
  • Prepares and presents briefings to base functions such as newcomers orientation and Commander's call.
  • Responsible for creating, developing and producing program flyers, brochures, pamphlets, posters, calendars and news articles in support of the marketing program and Force Support Squadron.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
