You will be supporting the Product Marketing team with strategic analysis and measuring campaign impact. In addition to informing strategy, you will navigate the Marketing and Product worlds to understand how marketing efforts shape downstream product engagement and customer behavior. The ideal candidate has a background in strategic analysis and prior experience leveraging data and insights to develop strategy, measuring marketing campaign performance, and connecting marketing & product work to business impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and improve dashboards and reports that track key marketing KPIs. Ensure that stakeholders have access to timely and accurate data to inform their decisions.
  • Design experiments to test hypotheses and analysis to measure business impact
  • Define, measure and track key marketing metrics over time, occasionally performing deep dives to understand what drives change in metrics
  • Translate insights into a cohesive narrative and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Act as a dedicated analytical partner to marketing managers (e.g., Brand, Product Marketing, Growth). Provide the data and insights needed to refine strategies, set realistic goals, and execute effective campaigns.
Experience:
  • Degree (or related work experience) with a focus in analytics, statistics, economics, marketing, or other quantitative fields
  • 3+ years of experience in a data analytics role, specifically within marketing or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL - able to write structured and efficient queries on large data sets
  • Experience in Experimentation and A/B testing is preferred
  • Experience in Marketing Models like Multi-Media Modeling / Attribution Modeling is a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and modeling.
  • Proficiency in a data visualization tool like Tableau, Looker, or similar.
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle ambiguous problems, break them down, and deliver clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex data and findings to a variety of stakeholders in a clear and compelling way.
  • A strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional partners, manage multiple competing priorities, and drive projects to completion.
Benefits:
  • Extended health and dental coverage options, along with life insurance and disability benefits
  • Mental health benefits
  • Family building benefits
  • Child care and pet benefits
  • Access to a Lyft funded Health Care Savings Account
  • RRSP plan with company match to help save for your future
  • In addition to provincial observed holidays, salaried team members are covered under Lyft's flexible paid time off policy. The policy allows team members to take off as much time as they need (with manager approval). Hourly team members get 15 days paid time off, with an additional day for each year of service
  • Lyft is proud to support new parents with 18 weeks of paid time off, designed as a top-up plan to complement provincial programs. Biological, adoptive, and foster parents are all eligible.
  • Subsidized commuter benefits and Lyft ride credits
