Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) is seeking a seasoned marketing and communications professional to lead conservation marketing initiatives and manage program communications for Save on Energy. Step 1: $111,072 to Step 10: $158,704
The successful candidate will be placed at the appropriate step within the salary grade/band, based on relevant years of experience and other applicable considerations.

Our central role includes managing the provincial power grid in real-time, overseeing and evolving Ontario's electricity market, engaging with government, municipalities and Indigenous communities, and planning for Ontario's future electricity needs. Our employees play a key role in driving grid innovation, protecting the system from threats, advancing the province's energy conservation programs, and forecasting and procuring the electricity resources we'll need in the decades to come. This is a unionized position that falls within the Corporate Communications Division in the Corporate Relations, Engagement and Strategy Business Unit.

Our team consists of experts from diverse backgrounds, each bringing their unique perspectives and skills.
Requires a knowledge of communications, public relations, marketing and digital media to design and implement marketing and communication plans, including the development of written communication, marketing and promotional content, to translate technical and/or specialized material and terminology into language that is appropriate for internal and external audiences, to source, select, organize, write, review and edit content for the web and to plan, design, develop, deploy and maintain external web site(s) and other digital channels. This knowledge is normally acquired through the completion of four years university training in an appropriate field or by having the equivalent level.
