Job summary

Nature Fresh Farms, LLC invites applications for a Market Data Analyst in our Trade Marketing Department at the Leamington office. The role focuses on market research, data analysis, and dashboard creation to support sales and marketing decisions.

You will work with syndicated data sources, BI tools, and Excel to deliver timely insights, collaborate across teams, and help optimize data storage and accessibility across the business.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education in business, analytics or related discipline required.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage large data sets.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau desirable.

We are currently looking to fill a full-time, permanent position for a Market Data Analyst in our Trade Marketing Department at our Leamington office.

What You'll Do:

Market Research and Analysis:

• Use syndicated data and other data sources to regularly report on performance of customers, categories, and competitors of interest.
• Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze sales growth, market share, and other performance metrics.
• Generate insights to assess business health and identify opportunities for growth.
• Help identify and understand evolving trends in the North American produce market.

Reporting:

• Provide regular updates to sales team and other internal or external stakeholders on new data developments.
• Develop creative ways to answer long-standing market-data-related questions. Investigate ad hoc questions as needed.
• Build and maintain dashboards in multiple software programs to make data available and easily understood.

Data curation and stewardship:

• Become subject-matter expert in data sources available to Nature Fresh Farms and work with Market Insights team and other departments to optimize data storage, organization, and accessibility.
• Help evaluate new tools and programs for obtaining or viewing data.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to align market insights efforts with business objectives.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.

General

• Comply withall Health and Safety, Food Safety, Bio Security, and Nature Fresh Policies and Procedure

What You Bring:

• Post secondary education in business, analytics or other related disciplines required.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information. Basic familiarity with statistical concepts is desirable.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability and desire to work with complicated data sets and verify accuracy of any numbers or statements shared with other people.
• Ability to learn new software and programs quickly. Previous experience working with BI software, such as Power BI and Tableau, highly desired. Advanced Excel skills required.
• Previous experience working with syndicated retail data (such as Circana, Nielsen, or SPINS) highly desired.
• Aptitude for making high-quality power point slides highly desired.
• Good communication abilities, active listening skills and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain respectful relationships at all levels within and outside the organization.
• Ability to identify issues and problem solve independently using appropriate resources internally and externally.
• Displays strong initiative and able to work independently with little direction, within a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Team player with a high level of dedication.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines; and ensure timely follow-up.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment, some independent work.
• Ability to work in a fast environment by multitasking and prioritizing work while being attentive to details and quality.
• Must be strong with follow through as many tasks require constant follow-up.
• Very high degree of confidentiality and integrity required regarding all aspects of the business.
• Ability to lift and carry items minimum 20 lbs, depending on role requirements
• Valid passport with the ability to travel to the U.S. or internationally as required.
• A valid driver's license and use of personal vehicle are required as needed.

• Office setting-walking, sitting and standing throughout the day
• Work hours Monday-Friday. Hours may fluctuate according to business needs. May be required after hours as needed
