Course Details

Title of Course: CHEM 2P42

Compensation
  • Master’s Degree Complete ($32.15/hour) - Paid to employees who have completed a master’s degree. (Effective January 1, 2023)
  • Undergraduate Degree Complete ($27.71/hour) - Paid to employees with a four-year honours degree or a three-year pass degree. (Effective January 1, 2023)
  • Third Year Complete ($20.46/hour) - Paid to employees who have completed the third year of an undergraduate honours degree. (Effective January 1, 2023)
  • Second Year Complete ($17.99/hour) - Paid to employees who have completed the second year of an undergraduate degree. (Effective January 1, 2023)
  • First Year Complete ($16.97/hour) - Paid to employees who have completed the first year of an undergraduate honours degree. (Effective January 1, 2023)
Duties

Marking assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams. Providing written feedback that clearly explains the basis of the grade, including content and quality of written communication. Invigilating mid-terms and exams, or entering grades into databases as requested.

Qualifications
  • Must have completed the course (or equivalent in English) with a grade of 80% or higher
  • Graduate of or major in Chemistry with a minimum major average of 75%
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines
  • Previous marker/grader experience is an asset
