Compensation

$39.09 to $42.51 per hour

Qualifications – Education
  • Mechanician Stream: Diploma related to internal combustion engine mechanics (e.g., construction machinery mechanics or automotive mechanics) or an acceptable combination of education, training and job‑related experience.
  • Electrician Stream: Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Studies (e.g., construction, maintenance or electromechanical power) or an acceptable combination of education, training and job‑related experience.
Qualifications – Experience
  • Mechanician Stream: Experience in the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment with internal combustion (power generation equipment, autonomous pump) and/or hydraulic power unit.
  • Electrician Stream: Experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical and/or electronic installation and equipment.
Language Requirement

Bilingual imperative (A–A / BBB), French essential.

Knowledge – All Streams

Knowledge of the operation of various generating sets.

Additional Conditions
  • Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license in Quebec and agree to drive a motor vehicle.
  • Passed Health Canada’s medical examination.
  • Agree to climb and work on structures (towers) up to 36 meters (120 feet) high.
  • Agree to do hard work on the sometimes rough terrain and bad weather.
  • Agree to travel for periods of up to 6 weeks and travel by various means of transportation including helicopter and small craft.
  • Agree to be deployed on or near contaminated sites with short notice (in a safe manner).
