A reputable maritime services provider based in Richmond, BC, is seeking a Marine Mechanic. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing engines and mechanical systems on commercial vessels. As a Marine Mechanic, you will be responsible for removing and replacing engines, mechanical systems, and fluid systems of commercial vessels. You will perform TCI/CSI tasks on commercial vessels, ensuring the efficiency and longevity of these vessels. You will also install new equipment, repair cooling and lubrication systems, and maintain detailed reports. Your role requires adherence to safe work practices and a commitment to improving operations and customer service.

Work outside in all weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors, including on vessels on land. Reporting to the supervisor, 24/7 availability may be required. Travel to off‑site locations may be necessary. Safety equipment such as steel‑toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles will be provided. Be prepared for overtime and hazards associated with the trade.
Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, BC.
The pay range for this position is $40.00 ‑ $45.00/hr.
