A leading engineering firm in Ontario is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to set up CNC machines, perform capability studies, and drive scrap reduction initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a technical degree or significant manufacturing experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Qualifications

  • Minimum two-year technical degree or 5 years’ minimum experience in manufacturing machining.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills; root cause analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and program CNC lathes and mills.
  • Perform capability studies and prototype parts.
  • Provide detailed scrap reports per work center.
  • Develop action items against top scrap elements.
