Qualifications

• Licensed Millwright with automotive maintenance experience.
• 3-5 years of Millwright experience in automotive settings.
• Willing to work mandatory overtime on extended maintenance shifts.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Desire to learn skills beyond current area; TPS knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing processes including injection molding, robotics, frame welding, seat assembly, IR ovens, presses and door panel assembly.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings and machine specifications.
• Recommend technical solutions and implement changes.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities.
• Communicate with internal and external parties.
• Carry out kaizen projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

• Is a Licensed Millwright.
• Has 3 to 5 years of experience as a Millwright in an automotive setting (preventative maintenance, continuous improvement (Kaizen), breakdowns, etc.).
• Is available and willing to work mandatory overtime maintenance shifts are more extended to support our production department.
• Has an excellent attendance record and arrives at work on time.
• Has strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Has good analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Has a desire to learn skills other than your area of expertise.
• Has a good understanding of the Toyota Production System (this would be an asset).

Shifts

Rotational Shift basis - 2 Weeks

Day Shift: 6:15 am to 4:45 pm

Afternoon Shift: 5:30 pm to 4:00 am

Wages

• $45.87 per hour as a starting rate.
• $46.65 after 6 months of employment.
• $47.43 after 1 year of employment.
• $48.99 after 2 years of employment.
• $50.60 after 3 years of employment.
• A $2.00 shift premium is added when working the afternoon shift.
• Overtime time is paid 1.5 times your regular wage after 40 hours each week.
