Alleguard is a leader in Protective Foam Solutions, located onsite in Toronto. We seek an experienced finance professional to own forecasting, month-end close, and reporting.

You will analyze manufacturing cost, perform variance analyses, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance profitability. Responsibilities include building KPI dashboards, supporting cash flow forecasting across US and Canada, and partnering with operations and sales to translate financial results for non-financial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and month-end close processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Periodic rolling forecasts, partnering with department and plant leaders to build, challenge, and consolidate submissions.
• Prepare the monthly management reporting package, including variance analysis with explanations of drivers.
• Analyze manufacturing performance — standard cost vs actual, material and labor usage, overhead absorption, scrap and yield, inventory levels, and COGS.
• Build and maintain margin analysis at product, customer, and plant levels with price/volume/mix bridges.
• Develop financial models and business cases for capex, pricing decisions, and cost-reduction initiatives; track results.
