Owens Corning Toronto Plant is seeking engineering graduates for the Manufacturing Leadership Program (MLP). The program trains you as a manufacturing engineer across two production lines, with leadership of cross-functional projects in maintenance and operations.

After two years, graduates may join a full manufacturing engineer role at the Toronto facility, with potential cross-Canada/US travel. The ME role focuses on maintaining production efficiency, improving quality and cost, and mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, graduating in 2027.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Co-op or internship manufacturing experience preferred.
• Completion of an engineering development program or similar experience preferred.
• Lean Certification or evidence of Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve process and equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and sustainability efforts in the manufacturing environment.
• Develop risk assessments for critical tasks (HAZOP, FMEA).
• Identify Critical Product Characteristics and ensure product quality.
• Conduct process audits and implement corrective actions for process shifts.
• Collaborate with maintenance to resolve equipment issues and capital projects.
• Educate and develop operators; build technical curriculum and test competency.
