Job summary

What are your contributions to the team?
  • Lead a team of investigators;
  • Establish and maintain investigation approaches, methods, and tools;
  • Ensure updates to investigation methods and report writing in line with the latest legislative changes related to workplace harassment and violence;
  • Collaborate with the Vice President in developing the strategic plan for the workplace investigation team;
  • Handle complaints with diligence, fairness, and objectivity;
  • Determine intervention strategies and conduct investigations of all scopes, meet with witnesses, complainants, and respondents, and analyze documentation that may sometimes be complex;
  • Prepare detailed reports and executive summaries and present findings to committees and individuals involved in the case;
  • Understand complex issues in varied environments and quickly grasp workplace‑related challenges;
  • Deliver training on various topics related to workplace issues and be able to simplify and clearly explain the subjects covered.
How to thrive in this role?
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in labor relations, labor law, or a related field;
  • You have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a similar role combined with five (5) years of experience in a managerial position;
  • You have knowledge and experience in conducting workplace investigations;
  • You have knowledge and experience in writing investigation reports;
  • You have knowledge and experience related to workplace harassment and violence;
  • You have experience in data analysis, root cause analysis, and forensic auditing would be an asset;
  • You have training in investigation techniques;
  • You have training related to workplace harassment and violence;
  • You are fully bilingual proficiency (French and English).
