What You Will Do:
  • Lead and manage day‑to‑day warehouse operations with a focus on efficiency, safety, and service.
  • Manage operation through proper forecasts and standardized operational processes which promote efficiencies and cost saving measures in all areas of the business.
  • Drive standardized processes through coaching, monitoring, development and ensure colleague compliance.
  • Promote, demote, discipline, and terminate if necessary.
  • Monitor KPIs and take corrective action to meet operational goals and customer service standards.
  • Evaluate and monitor the performance of the team and proactively deal with issues as they arise and support consistency through all shifts.
  • Review inbound/outbound volumes in department and develop caps which support the outbound activity.
  • Evaluate performance of Senior Supervisors or Supervisors and provide necessary feedback and coaching to achieve targets.
  • Encourage a safe and positive work culture that engages colleagues.
  • Foster productive union relations: Ensure adherence to Collective Agreement and manage grievance resolution process.
  • Work with the General Manager in the development and control of the annual operating budget.
What You Will Need:
  • 5 to 7 years in a warehouse operations supervisory experience preferred.
  • Post‑secondary education in Supply Chain management or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse teams in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proven experience with labor relations and knowledge of collective agreements (for unionized environments).
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize competing demands, and a heavy workload.
  • Computer skills, including MS Office programs, WMS and other related systems required.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a strategic, “big‑picture” approach to operations.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
