Warehouse Manager - Temporary

Reporting to the Store Manager and District Manager, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the store warehouse. This position is hands on and responsible for inventory control and overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.
  • Implementing operational policies and procedures.
  • Manage strict inventory control and inventory flow in/out of warehouse.
  • Manage warehouse and warehouse associates in an efficient manner to increase growth and productivity.
  • Maintain structure and a well organized warehouse.
  • Assign warehouse tasks to Warehouse Associates in accordance with daily requirements and warehouse operating procedures.
  • Responsible for receiving and tracking inbound products from vendors and prepping warehouse for receiving product.
  • Assist customers in picking up purchased products and prepare product for scheduled deliveries.
  • Fulfill any product requirements for showroom.
  • Ensures that all Provincial Safety measures are met and adhered to.
  • Gather next day’s work orders and prepare materials for pick up.
  • Ensuring safety of staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 5+ years warehouse management experience.
  • Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
  • Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong people skills.
  • Available to work extended hours.
