Leveraging theirexperience in M&A, restructuring, insolvency, or crisis response, the Manager, Transaction Readiness, helps prepare CDIC for the failure or financial distress of a member institution. The role supports planning and coordination so the organization can respond quickly and effectively. The Manager leads projects that improve the tools, processes, and guidance used by the wider complement of CDIC staff and works with others to test and strengthen how the organization responds. While working alongside those who conduct significant quantitative analysis, this is not a quantitative analysis role. This position reports to the Director, Transaction Readiness. The Manager may work with teams across the organization, including Legal, Policy, and Communications, and externally with vendors, regulators, and member institutions as required.
This role can be performed from ourOttawa or Torontooffices, following a hybrid model approach. We are looking to staff threefull-time permanent positions.

Bilingual Imperative: Level (BBB/BBB) or willingness to obtain
Security Clearance:Eligibility to obtain a Secret-level security clearance
