OPPORTUNITY:
HEABC has an opening for a Manager, Technology and Support. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Manager, Technology and Support is responsible for the cloud infrastructure, on-premises infrastructure, platforms, disaster recovery, and IMIT service desk and serves as an important part of the IMIT leadership team (ITLT). The Manager, Technology and Support takes a holistic view of how all parts of HEABC’s IT systems operate and uses that information to work with the CIO and ITLT to create a vision and set goals for long term planning, budget and future work. The Manager, Technology and Support ensures that all infrastructure and platforms, whether cloud, on-premises, or hosted elsewhere, are properly operational, updated and maintained according to industry standards, including patching. The Manager, Technology and Support ensures that the IMIT Service Desk is running efficiently and supports the organization.
Responsibilities Include:
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
Successful completion of a university degree in computer systems or a related field. Seven (7) years of professional experience managing cloud and on-premises infrastructure and platforms and Service Desk, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
This position is well-suited to an individual interested in pursuing a career in an interesting segment of the public sector, and who values the opportunity to make a positive public contribution through their work.
Salary Range: $88,990 to $127,923
Typical Hiring Range: $88,990 to $111,237
In determining salary, HEABC considers many factors including the successful candidate’s skillset and experience as well as internal equity. The final salary offer will be at HEABC’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
