Job summary

What are your contributions to the team?
  • Be responsible for the portfolio of talent management programs and processes such as onboarding, performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning
  • Drive the development and deployment of our belonging strategy
  • Be responsible for the learning and development strategy by actively contributing to the design and implementation of learning curriculum and development initiatives for our different levels of leaders and our employees
  • Co‑lead the Learning & Development community formed of leaders and professionals across the organization
  • Support the HR transformation through an HR skills development strategy
  • Facilitate training programs and sessions with leaders and employees
  • Keep abreast of talent management and development best practices, including our “We are belong” strategy
  • Source and manage vendor relationships and service level agreements in support of talent management and development programs
  • Initiate, nurture and leverage strong relationships with HR business partners and business leaders in order to understand the short and long‑term needs of the business and their relative priority
  • Enable, coach and develop the team of professionals in the talent management and organization development team
How to thrive in this role?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in the area of talent management and leadership development in a complex, forward‑thinking environment with a diverse and geographically dispersed set of businesses
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team of professionals
  • Demonstrated experience and success in the design, development and implementation of talent management and leadership development programs and processes that enable business performance
  • Knowledge and experience in the areas of inclusion, performance management, employee engagement, learning program design and development, talent assessment, succession planning, high‑potential talent development and leadership development
  • Highly developed facilitation skills
  • Strong influencing/consulting and collaboration skills that are required to nurture relationships, promote new ideas and achieve buy‑in
  • Ability to grasp broad organizational issues and consider needs of varied lines of businesses in implementing enterprise‑wide programs
  • Strong project management skills
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills in English and French; other languages would be an asset
  • Highly organized and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced and stressful environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional presence necessary to interact with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders
