A leading automotive company in Canada seeks a Systems Engineering Group Leader to guide a talented team in developing fault detection and management systems for autonomous vehicles. The role involves leading engineering processes and ensuring product integrity through collaboration with various teams. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in systems development and team leadership, and hold a relevant degree. This position offers hybrid work arrangements.
Work Arrangement: This role is hybrid, you are expected to report to Markham Elevation Centre three times a week, at minimum.

We’re looking for a Systems Engineering Group Leader to join the Autonomous Vehicles Integrity Platform group. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for guiding a team of talented system engineers in the development of fault detection, fault management, and integrity strategies for advanced sensing and compute technologies — including cameras, radars, and other ADAS/autonomous driving sensors.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the technical direction of critical systems while growing and mentoring a team of systems engineers. You’ll collaborate across software, hardware, and validation teams to ensure our sensing systems are robust, reliable, and ready for the road.
