About the role

We are looking for a proactive, outcomes‑focused, high‑performing, energetic commercial and detail‑oriented professional for the Colliers Canada business. This professional will report to the Vice President Strategy & Operations Canada and work closely with key members of the Office of the CEO and Canadian senior executives to achieve business results by providing analysis and research to support executive decision‑making, taking ownership of discrete projects and contributing to larger strategic projects that enable and drive growth, and executing on operational imperatives. This hands‑on role is unique because its scope extends across the entirety of Colliers Canada and combines strategic planning, ad‑hoc analysis, project management, operations and execution to support clients and colleagues alike in a fast‑moving high‑growth professional services firm.

In this role you will
  • Support the annual and five‑year strategic planning process
  • Undertake cross‑functional complex strategic project delivery and management
  • Manage corporate‑led project initiatives and change
  • Undertake structured problem‑solving
  • Undertake financial modelling and quantitative analysis
  • Conduct research and develop insights
  • Formulate and deliver process improvement
  • Prepare executive‑ready materials on a scheduled and ad‑hoc basis
  • Create written reports, PowerPoint packs and Power BI dashboards
  • Conduct research and analysis to support executive decision‑making including in relation to the competitive landscape and identifying and assessing the feasibility of potential M&A initiatives and opportunities
  • Manage operational matters including management of the Colliers office portfolio strategy
What you bring
  • 8‑10 years of experience in management consulting or similar corporate strategy or business transformation roles
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Commerce, Business or Finance
  • Deep experience in strategy ideation, development, execution and implementation
  • Previous experience in a professional services firm or corporate environment as a trusted advisor to the business
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are critical
  • PowerBI and visualization tools experience are highly regarded
  • Ability to interrogate models, analyze and draw actionable insights from large sets of data
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to influence without authority; experience working with executive leadership is an asset
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and influence senior‑level stakeholders

Area / Location Specific: Vancouver, BC

Approximate Salary Range for Role: $90,307 to $140,000 CAD.
