The AI Services team is a newly created team committed to setting the direction, architecture, and technology stack in our new AI platform. We are looking to build services that our suite of Versaterm products can leverage and incorporate. This is an exciting time to join our growing team as it evolves with the needs of the business and the pace of the AI landscape. Initial services will consist of transcription from audio/video, translation, and other related services involving leveraging the best of AI, LLMs, and agentic services.
As a Manager, Software Engineering, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers in the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software products. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of the team, driving best practices in software development, and ensuring the successful delivery of engineering projects. This role requires a combination of strong technical expertise, leadership, and a passion for mentoring engineers.

This position requires security clearances due to the nature of our work with public safety agencies. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada and must successfully obtain and maintain a Reliability security clearance from the Government of Canada. Additionally, candidates must comply with the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy and pass a comprehensive, fingerprint‑based background check. Please note that specific customer contracts may impose additional security verification requirements. Obtaining and maintaining all required security clearances is a condition of employment.
