  • Provide technical guidance, architecture and direction to software developers, software quality specialists, and other technical people on the software development team
  • Engage employees in development conversations and provide support towards their development goals, with a focus on continuous learning and upskilling
  • Conduct annual goal setting by establishing clear and measurable goals, ensuring alignment and support of department strategy
  • Successfully execute end-to-end year-end performance review cycle
  • Drive employee engagement by supporting and promoting people programs and enabling Fidelity’s culture
Provide technical governance
  • Participate in architectural reviews, performance tuning, and technical risk assessments
  • Guide and maintain modern software architecture across backend, web, mobile, and cloud layers
  • Provide technical leadership across the Investly technology ecosystem
  • Partner with security and infrastructure teams to ensure applications are reliable, secure and compliant with organizational standards
  • Contribute to the evolution of the SDLC focusing on security, data governance, automation, architecture, and testing excellence
  • Promote best practices for documentation, maintainability and operations readiness
Communicate and report to stakeholders
  • Present complex technical information, project updates, risks and technical considerations to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives

  • Contribute to strategic planning and product development roadmap
What You Will Bring
  • Ability to spot code smells, security issues, or other software development poor practices
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills
  • Ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear, insight-driven direction
  • Strong decision-making abilities with a balance of technical depth and strategic thinking
  • Strong sense of user advocacy and experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of agile software development processes
  • Ability to inspire and motivate teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment
