Laurentian University seeks a Manager, Rights and Responsibility in the Equity, Diversity and Human Rights Office. The role leads investigations into discrimination, harassment and SGBV, ensuring fairness and compliance with laws and policies.

Reporting to the Director of Human Rights, the Manager, Rights and Responsibility manages institutional case resolution processes related to discrimination, harassment, and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), as well as non-academic student conduct. The Manager provides expert, trauma-informed leadership in responding to complaints, investigations, and education on rights and responsibilities within the University. Additionally, the role ensures compliance with institutional policies, provincial legislation, and procedural fairness in all cases.

The official University hours of operation shall be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, during, and including, the months from September to April, and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m Monday through Friday during and including May to August., amounting to thirty-three and three-quarter (33.75) hours per week.
