We’re looking for a dedicated Manager to lead the retirement housing with meals service at Quayside Court in Perth, ensuring tenants enjoy a safe, comfortable, and vibrant living environment.

Overview

As proactive leader committed to quality and community, you’ll be responsible for delivering high‑quality tenancy and property management, overseeing a flexible, freshly prepared meals service, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere in communal areas, and maintaining high standards across individual properties and shared facilities in line with our Housing and Care Services Operational and Property Services Manuals.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high‑quality tenancy and property management, ensuring tenants feel secure and well‑supported in their homes.
  • Oversee a flexible, freshly prepared meals service that offers great taste, nutritional value, and excellent value for money.
  • Create a warm and inclusive atmosphere in communal areas, encouraging tenant engagement and making spaces inviting for both residents and visitors.
  • Maintain high standards across individual properties and shared facilities, in line with our Housing and Care Services Operational and Property Services Manuals.
Role Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for accurate record‑keeping and engaging with tenants and professionals.
  • Basic numerical skills to manage petty cash and meal budgets.
  • Ability to follow procedures for equipment use and safety checks.
  • Ability to form professional and confidential relationships with tenants, families, and colleagues.
  • Awareness of older people’s needs and rights in supported housing.
  • Capable of handling emergencies calmly and effectively.
  • Organised, able to prioritise tasks and maintain records.
  • Confident working independently and managing a small team, including volunteers.
  • Willingness to develop IT skills (e.g. email, word processing).
  • Experience in housing, social care, or health services—or relevant personal/voluntary experience with older people.
  • Experience in managing and developing staff would be advantageous, helping to foster a motivated and high‑performing team.
