We’re looking for an experienced Manager, Residential Operations to oversee a dynamic portfolio of residential properties, ensuring operational excellence, high tenant satisfaction, and strong financial outcomes. Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Manage daily site operations, inspections, and capital improvement projects; uphold high standards across all common areas and building systems.
  • Tenant Relations: Build lasting resident relationships by addressing concerns, ensuring service excellence, and supporting long-term retention.
  • Financial Performance: Oversee rent collection, budget management, variance analysis, and reporting; support leasing efforts to drive occupancy and ROI.
  • Team & Vendor Oversight: Lead on-site teams and external service providers to ensure timely, quality service and cost-effective operations.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure full regulatory compliance with applicable legislation, including the Residential Tenancies Act; maintain detailed documentation and proactively manage risk.
  • Innovation & Optimization: Leverage new tools, technologies, and practices to improve property performance and uncover cost-saving opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate regularly with leadership, provide reporting, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in residential property management, with proven leadership in a multi-site environment.
  • Certificate or degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or related field; CPM, IHM, or similar designations are an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and municipal legislation.
  • Proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated leadership, people management, and vendor coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication, diplomacy, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Highly adaptable, organized, and resourceful, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
