What Does a Manager in Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering Do at Amazon?

As aRegional Portfolio Managerwithin the RME division, you’ll be responsible for strategic and tactical leadership across multiple sites on maintenance, repair, and vendor management. The role requires strong collaboration, influencing, and relationship skills from all levels of the organization. You will work on complex projects including engineering and commissioning, manage vendor performance in support of Amazon’s high standards for operational excellence.

Your scope will include managing technical and operational teams, overseeing vendors, and informing long-term strategy development. You will also be expected to mentor and technologically guide various cross-functional teams, vendors, and senior leaders across Amazon Business Units to ensure that maintenance operations across Amazon maintain the highest level of reliability and efficiency.

  • Provide technical guidanceto site teams, vendors, and other Amazon business units.
  • Coordinate informationbetween teams to ensure alignment on project goals and execution.

Basic Qualifications for RME Manager at Amazon
