Job Overview
- Under the direction of the Director, Regulatory Affairs and the Vice President, Regulatory Affairs, the Manager, Regulatory Affairs will be responsible for the following :
- Coordination, integration, project management, strategic and financial analysis and positioning, communications, planning, research, modelling, and procedures in support of our client’s rate application with the Ontario Energy Board.
- Recommend strategies and tactics in all forums (discussions, meetings, written reports, hearings, etc.) in relation to our client’s interface with the Ontario Energy Board.
- Work with Regulatory Affairs and Business Unit staff to coordinate all documentation related to rate application submissions, including reviewing evidence for preparedness, consolidating documentation, and preparing documents for submission to regulators and manage filings to meet successful transmission according to the agreed upon timelines of the project schedule.
- Review and perform reference and style guiding of all evidence, providing participants with clear feedback and or correcting of errors directly to ensure documentation meets filing guidelines.
- Manage internal and external access to confidential and labour sensitive information, including uploading to and administering of external SharePoint sites and liaising with external parties such as OEB staff and intervenors.
Qualifications
- Project Manager (PMP not required) with experience managing / supporting the logistics of rate applications to any external licensing body such as the Ontario Energy Board.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish working internal and external relationships with individuals at all levels.
- Project management experience, particularly in managing tight deadlines and inputs from multiple business units I stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a complex regulated corporate environment.
- Ability to manage large volumes of information in a very timely manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly SharePoint.
