Design, coordinate, and implement RBC Dominion Securities Investment Advisor onboarding experience. Initiatives will center on a cohesive experience for IAs, support staff and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the future growth and success of RBC DS by driving simplification, scaling opportunities, and continually growing partnerships with divisional, branch management, and other senior leaders across business lines to develop, implement and enhance our talent acquisition and effective transition efforts.
  • Review and enhance the onboarding process and client experience, including online registration, paperless elections, cash program selections, establishing liquidity, and total wealth registration and setup.
  • Keep updated on regulatory and system changes and requirements.
  • Partner with field leadership to provide guidance and share previous experiences to support the onboarding experience for IAs, clients, and support staff.
  • Assist in onboarding new Investment Advisors, their support staff and clients working with Branch Management and HR support teams.
  • Manage onboarding team, including performance management, staffing, etc.
  • Coordinate transitions services for new hires with branch management and coordinate support with other business groups such as operations and training.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of professional experience within the investment industry.
  • Deep understanding of the business and foresight to innovate and design best‑in‑class onboarding experience.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel across the country.
  • Knowledge and experience with Wealth Management branch management operations, processes and systems.
  • Forward thinker with ability to collaborate, drive progress, results and business goals.
  • Proven ability to implement strategic direction and communicate it among constituents.
  • Strong people management skills with focus on project management and execution; ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
  • Comprehensive understanding of industry and firm rules and regulations.
  • Proficient in Windows‑based software products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Access.
  • Nice to have: Degree from an accredited university in Finance, Business, Economics or related experience.
  • Nice to have: Strong multi‑tasking and prioritization skills; ability to work under time pressure.
  • Nice to have: Knowledge and experience with DS branch management operations, processes and systems.
