What is the opportunity?

RBC Technology Infrastructure (TI) is executing one of the most ambitious transformation agendas in the bank’s history—modernizing platforms, automating operations, and building the foundation for the Bank of Tomorrow.

As a Manager, Program Operations & Reporting within the TI Analytics & Insights Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, governance, and performance reporting for critical strategic priorities within the TI organization. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in managing steering committees, reporting frameworks, and governance processes for senior stakeholders (VP, SVP+). This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, communication, and project management skills to drive business outcomes and ensure seamless program execution.

What will you do?
Executive Steering Committee Management:
  • Lead the coordination and management of Executive Steering Committees, ensuring alignment with Technology Infrastructure’s strategic priorities.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality materials, presentations, and reports for committee meetings.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to drive ESG-related initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Reporting And Metrics:
  • Develop, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure program success.
  • Create and maintain reports (business review documents), dashboards, and other visualization tools to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
Strategy & Delivery Enablement:
  • Drive operational excellence by streamlining processes and implementing best practices across Technology Infrastructure.
  • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Act as a liaison between various teams within Technology Infrastructure to ensure effective communication and collaboration, process improvement and implement changes to optimize program operations.
  • Supporting planning and enablement of Senior Leadership offsites, meetings and forums.
What do you need to succeed?
Must haves:
  • Proven experience in program operations, reporting, and governance within a large, complex organization, preferably in the Technology space.
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Excel, Power BI, & PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of ESC principles and their application in a technology-focused environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
Nice to haves:
  • Experience in Python and SQL.
  • Banking or financial industry experience.
