Salary: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour

Job Details

Steel Space Concepts designs and manufactures mobile units, pop‑ups and creative installations used across North America. We carry out unique, varied, non‑repetitive projects, and we’re looking for an organized and proactive person to support our production team.

Position Overview

You will play a key role in the flow of materials throughout the shop. You will work closely with the following departments:

  • Finishing
  • Welding
  • Electrical
  • Paint
  • General fabrication

You will be responsible for maintaining an organized, efficient and safe work environment. Since everything happens in a single facility, speed and coordination are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Order and manage the receipt of materials and verify the accuracy of orders
  • Maintain an accurate inventory (wood, metal, hardware, paint products, etc.)
  • Prepare and distribute materials to the production teams
  • Support department leads with their daily material needs
  • Maintain order, safety and structure in storage areas
  • Optimize material flow and propose process improvements
Desired Skills and Profile
  • Knowledge of materials (Steel, Aluminum, Wood, Polycarbonates, Hardware, Paint, etc.)
  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, or a manufacturing environment
