Overview

At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause: turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.

As part of the Finance Reporting team, the Manager - Power BI and data analytics will prepare financial reports using Power BI and Excel. They will communicate with internal clients across the country to present their work, discuss new requests, and answer business questions.

What you will do
  • Report Creation (65% of time):
    • Create and modify dashboards and reports in Power BI
    • Create financial reports and ad hoc analyses in Excel
    • Review reports to ensure accuracy
  • Collaboration (25% of time):
    • Demonstrate newly created reports to end users
    • Meet with internal clients to answer their business questions
    • Work with other Finance Reporting team members to solve problems and discuss improvements
  • Data Management (5% of time):
    • Query data from Azure Synapse
    • Identify data discrepancies
  • Learning (5% of time):
    • Research data visualization best practices
    • Enhance Microsoft Azure, Power BI, and Excel skills
    • Learn about the business and how to support it with helpful financial information
