Job Description
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The PMO team oversees and governs a broad and diverse portfolio of technology projects that deliver on the broader Capital Markets business strategy. In this role you will support and report on overall portfolio health and metrics and ensure alignment to broader enterprise policies. The role works closely with our broader project practitioner community, to ensure all stages of the project lifecycle run smoothly.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Develop and execute regular cadence reporting on health of specific projects and overall portfolio for a variety of audiences
  • Alignment of Capital markets project delivery and execution to enterprise policies and standards (business casing, mandatory artifacts, benefits, etc.)
  • Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks. Analyze, mitigate, and escalate where appropriate
  • Develop and execute on training materials related to changes in processes and policies to the broader project practitioner universe
  • Manage and refine the intake process for new project demand
  • Establish strong working relationships across broader project teams to build influence and impact with key stakeholders
  • Support broader project practitioner/governance leads as required (e.g. audit requests, etc.)
  • Support broader PMO team as workload requires
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must Have:
  • Undergraduate degree (preferred) coupled with prior project management experience (familiarity of project lifecycle, business cases, project financials, best practices (medium to large sized projects))
  • Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with very strong presentation skills – need to be comfortable presenting in large team meetings. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and time management capabilities. Self-starter and intellectually curious.
  • Very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; Tableau knowledge a nice to have
  • Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience in a matrix environment, ability to influence without authority
  • Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
  • Facilitation experience and/or development of training materials and communications
  • Experience working with a geographically dispersed team
  • Experience with tableau
