You will coordinate workload, guide compliance, and drive performance in a dynamic, client-focused environment. Ideal candidate has 5+ years in tax prep, including self-employed returns, with CRA processes experience and knowledge of bankruptcy tax returns.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of tax preparation experience including self-employed tax returns and CRA processes related to T1s
  • Knowledge of bankruptcy tax returns (pre, in-bankruptcy, post, provisional) is an asset
  • Working knowledge of iFirm is an asset
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to occasional evening hours and flexible work schedules

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a hands-on role in day-to-day tax operations, including completing tax work, managing files, and supporting client deliverables while leading the team
  • Coordinate and distribute workload across the teams, monitoring progress and ensuring timely completion of tasks
  • Partner with Team Leaders to ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices
  • Provide guidance on resolving complex client and CRA concerns in a timely manner
  • Communicate performance expectations, priorities, and objectives to the team
  • Monitor productivity and performance to meet service levels and quality standards
