Term: Permanent

Compensation Range: Base Salary: $80,000 to $120,000. In addition to the base, our compensation package includes a performance-based commission structure, providing significant earning potential for top performers.

Location: Flexible / Remote options available

Industry: Particle Accelerator Solutions and Components

Travel Requirement: Approximately 1 week per month

Areas of focus: Business development, prospecting, lead nurturing/development, strategic solution selling, sales proposal and quote creation, account management, marketing and campaign execution

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Sales Account/Business Development Manager with deep experience in selling highly technical solutions in advanced scientific environments. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and relationship builder who thrives in complex sales cycles and is passionate about contributing to the growth of a world-class technology company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and close high-value strategic sales opportunities within the particle accelerator and related industries.
  • Apply advanced solution-selling techniques to understand customer needs and position D-Pace’s offerings effectively.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts to maximize revenue and long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to tailor solutions to customer requirements.
  • Represent D-Pace at industry events, conferences, and prospect/customer meetings globally.
  • Leverage proven sales methodologies to efficiently move qualified prospects through the sales process to maximize wins.
  • Initiate, support and execute on relevant business development and marketing activities to maximize and optimize the sales pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports using CRM tools.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales roles within advanced sciences or highly technical industries (e.g., particle accelerator, nuclear physics, scientific instrumentation).
  • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals.
  • Strong understanding of strategic solution selling and account management best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Hands on experience in leveraging CRM tools to support the selling process.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical background in physics, engineering, or related scientific disciplines.
  • Experience working with research institutions, government labs, or commercial accelerator facilities.
  • Familiarity with ion sources, beam diagnostics, or beamline systems is a strong asset.
