Job Description

We're looking for a Manager of HR Operations and Continuous Improvement to drive the evolution of TJXC's HR operating model. You'll be accountable for the development, optimization, and enhancement of current and future HR initiatives and compliance requirements to support long term organizational growth. In this role, you'll lead continuous improvement efforts, leverage data and insights, and implement scalable solutions that strengthen HR performance and capabilities.

What You'll Do
  • Create the strategic direction of continuous improvement programs, new technological advances, business analytics, process design and for advising, managing and directing complex HR projects and other process improvement initiatives in alignment with HR operating model and TJXC business objectives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive improvement, analytics, and compliance strategy for HR aligned with organizational goals.
  • Implement HR initiatives and programs in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring effective management.
  • Establish reporting tools to leverage data analytics for measuring HR process effectiveness and identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to create and utilize dashboards for HR information accessibility.
  • Establish an HR Project Management Office (PMO) for standardized project management.
  • Provide strategic guidance to HR leadership and oversee Business Process Documentation and Analytics within HR.
  • Manage seamless delivery of HR-related projects, ensuring sustainable gains and smooth change management.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and audit standards in HR practices, including privacy and policy governance.
  • Develop and mentor a diverse team, setting talent strategy and fostering continuous learning.
  • Drive leadership and talent development efforts, promoting a culture of innovation and proactive problem-solving.
About You
  • Minimum 7 years work-related experience, preferably with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role within a PMO environment
  • Post-Secondary Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field. PMP Certification is an asset
  • Strong understanding of leading projects, programs and the use of consistent project management methodology, governance and project leadership, with the demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects concurrently and delegate effectively
  • Experience with process analysis, design, implementation, business & technical requirements, problem solving, systems testing and process improvement (Lean Six Sigma, Agile) considered an asset
  • Strong conceptual thinking and analytical skills, with a strong storytelling ability to bring a variety of global and local stakeholders along on a project.
  • Ability to negotiate, coach, counsel , provide recommendations and lead team though change and indirectly influence
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office products, Shared Services and HRIS systems
  • Strong people management skills, including responsibility for the development of the team; coach and mentor team members; provide advice and guidance in the resolution of problems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and organizational skills including the ability to respond to several different issues at once, at varying levels of complexity
  • Strong communication skills including written and verbal (one-on-one counsel, in meetings or presentations, etc.)
