As a member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and administrative functions while acting as a key liaison with external stakeholders. This is a diverse role with broad responsibilities which will require a hands‑on approach and the ability to juggle competing priorities. As the finance subject matter expert, you will play an integral role in supporting the organization with a wide range of duties and responsibilities. Reporting to the Executive Director, these include:

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and implement financial plans, budgets and forecasts and provide analysis and recommendations
  • Prepare financial statements, reports and analysis for senior management and stakeholders
  • Manage cash flow and working capital and monitor and control budgets, expenses, and financial resources
  • Perform compliance assessments and audits to ensure adherence to related policies and procedures
  • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives and provide financial insight, risk assessments and recommendations for improving efficiencies
  • Act as key liaison with external stakeholders and auditors
  • Manage and oversee administrative functions including IT, facilities management, and contract negotiations
  • Lead and mentor the finance and administrative team and ensure continued development and high performance
  • Act as the liaison between the health and safety committee and the leadership team

Qualifications

The main qualifications for this role include :
