Recruitment Partners Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager in Calgary to lead the finance team and oversee accounting operations, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.

You will report to the Controller and collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure accurate financial results across multiple entities. You will drive monthly closes, forecasts, and board-level reporting, mentor staff, and coordinate annual budgeting and audits.

Qualifications

• CPA designation with 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with QuickBooks and Vena is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of ASPE and familiarity with Canadian and U.S. tax requirements.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with strong attention to detail.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency and business processes.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and consolidated financial reporting, including variance analysis.
• Develop financial reports, schedules, and presentations for the Board and senior leadership.
• Manage accounting operations, including cash, investments, intercompany transactions, and reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable, month-end close, cash flow forecasting, and treasury relationships.
• Lead monthly forecasting, operational reporting, and executive reporting processes.
• Manage fixed asset budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Coordinate and lead the annual budgeting process across operational teams.
• Support annual audits, tax compliance reporting, and external auditor relationships.
• Mentor accounting staff, provide Controller backup support, and lead special projects.

Accounting Manager

Our Calgary-based client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their growing Finance team. Reporting directly to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will play a key role in overseeing the organization's accounting and financial operations.
