Why is this role important?

As the Manager, Network Capacity and Operations, Ecommerce, you will be responsible for identifying and building opportunities for our online ecommerce teams nationally to grow their business with focuses on key areas such as store capacity, growth, order immediacy, and product availability.

All initiatives that you are a part of developing will keep our customer’s experience top of mind while ensuring to motivate our colleagues to perform at their very best. You will work cross functionally with key stakeholders across the Online business, including Product Management, Tech, Communications, and Continuous Improvement, leveraging their input and expertise to build and support the right processes to effectively support our store teams. You will track, analyze, and measure operational results across all of our locations and work closely with online grocery specialists to help achieve key business KPIs. You will evaluate current in store SOP’s related to our key focus areas and identify areas to drive improvements. Your passion for the customer experience will be evident in your work across all Loblaw store banners.

What you’ll do:
  • Be a core part of the Business Engagement team supporting the Online Business
  • Track, analyze and measure operational results across all our locations as part of developing the right initiatives to drive growth in our business
  • Become a key subject matter expert on current store SOP’s related to our identified areas of focus
  • Develop core relationships cross functionally with merchandise and omni channel teams to improve product availability operational tactics related to customer order satisfaction
  • Partner with online specialists to build solid operational plans for order flexibility and on-demand capabilities as part of our evolution of customer experience
  • Extract actionable insights from various data sources to help guide improved operational execution
  • Support of net new online grocery locations and expansions, ensuring our strategies come to life
  • Work closely with our network strategy team to support longer term objectives related to online grocery capacities

  • Ability to understand existing processes to effectively build and implement changes with high levels of complexity
  • Effective communication skills to build alignment and cohesive plans with key stakeholder groups
  • 1-3 years of experience in the retail grocery business would be an asset
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiencies across data systems and tracking
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Work with modern tools and platforms such as SQL, MicroStrategy, Power BI, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to deliver analytics and reporting solutions
  • Willingness to continually improve processes through innovative, strategic thinking
  • Be detail oriented and can handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Up to 25% travel
