As a Manager in Municipal Infrastructure, you will lead a team of engineers and technicians and assist in achieving the objectives of the Municipal Infrastructure Department for the West region.

Your role within the team

  • Support in implementing methods and procedures according to corporate standards.
  • Manage the human, financial, and material resources of your department.
  • Plan resources for projects and participate in annual human resources processes (recruitment, performance evaluations, resource development plans, training, etc.).
  • Participate in business development for your department. Participate in the writing of proposals.
  • Act as a manager for several projects.
  • Participate in and/or lead execution of municipal infrastructure projects
  • Ensure client satisfaction and compliance with services offered deliverables, budgets, and schedules.

The ideal candidate

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) with APEGA and/or APEGS and willing to become a member in other provinces when required.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in managing large-scale Municipal infrastructure projects and at least 3 years in managing/coordinating technical teams.
  • Proactive and methodical, with the ability to manage priorities and take initiative.
  • Able to communicate in English (speaking, reading & writing).
  • Completed large-scale assignments with various cities.

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $129,800 - $178,500 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
