The Physical Facilities Department oversees the planning, maintenance, and development of Banff Centre’s infrastructure. Responsibilities include managing the organization’s physical assets and providing timely, efficient services to a wide range of users, including staff, faculty, guests, artists, and the broader community.
The Manager, Mechanical Systems oversees daily operations of the plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and plant maintenance teams. The role involves coordinating staff to maintain and repair all mechanical and electrical infrastructure, including building utilities such as water, electricity, heating and cooling systems. This is a key position that helps ensure prompt responses to the needs of the Banff Centre community, and promotes strong customer service and high‑quality workmanship.
