Overview

Source Atlantic is looking for a Service Branch Manager, located in Saint John, NB. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service group and achieving financial, operational, and human resources targets while fostering a safe, efficient, and positive work environment. The manager will lead a team to meet revenue, margin, and profit goals, maintain optimal inventory levels, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of daily branch operations, including staff management and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ensure the branch consistently meets performance expectations and operates in full compliance with organizational policies and standards
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the branch's budget and consistently meet or exceed key performance metrics
  • Ensure equipment, procedures and training meet safety regulation and organizational expectations, with up-to-date documentation and protocols in place to support a safe working environment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and partners, while actively developing and growing a high-performing team
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary group to quote and close sales opportunities
  • Identify, promote and expand business opportunities for rigging products and inspection services, conveyor systems (belting), and hydraulic products and services to end users, contractors, and consultants
  • Understand contract agreements, terms, and conditions with customers
  • Provide guidance, motivation, and support to team members; create a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and growth
  • Communicate effectively to market services, train new employees, and share goals
  • Collaborate with managers to align on strategic goals; lead performance management and conduct regular evaluations
  • Provide recommendations to Vertical Manager for staffing changes and compensation changes
  • Ensure a positive customer experience by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and building loyalty
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in branch or operations management, preferably in a service or industrial setting
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, financial metrics, and operational performance
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Ability to manage customer relationships and resolve issues effectively
  • Experience with quoting, sales, and contract management
  • Familiarity with rigging, belting, hydraulic systems, or related services is an asset
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and implementing strategic improvements
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment
