Job summary

Qualifications

  • CPA designation and In-Depth Tax Course or MTax are required.
  • 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience in Canadian and international tax.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian and international tax legislation and cross-border planning.
  • Experience managing tax engagements and delivering practical tax solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; able to present to clients and colleagues.

Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Manager, International Tax Services to join our growing Tax practice and own the following responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on a variety of international tax matters, including cross-border transactions, international expansion, and inbound investment into Canada.
  • Lead the planning and execution of complex tax engagements, providing practical, client-focused solutions to address Canadian and international tax issues.
  • Prepare and review technical tax research, memoranda, tax reorganizations, and corporate tax compliance engagements while ensuring technical accuracy and quality.
  • Support clients with international tax planning, tax controversy matters, and the interpretation of evolving tax legislation and regulatory changes.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand service offerings and deliver additional value.
  • Mentor and develop team members through coaching, technical guidance, and ongoing support, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Your Experience and Education
  • You have completed your Canadian CPA designation and either the In-Depth Tax Course or a Master of Taxation (MTax).
  • You have 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, with a focus on Canadian and International Tax.
  • You possess strong technical knowledge of Canadian and international tax legislation, including cross-border tax planning, compliance, and advisory services.
  • You have experience managing tax engagements and delivering practical solutions for complex tax planning and compliance matters.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are comfortable presenting technical concepts to clients and colleagues.
  • You are committed to delivering exceptional client service and building strong, lasting client relationships.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy mentoring and developing junior team members.

Expected salary range for this position is $92,000 - $138,000 #LI-JG1
