This role is a key function to element the overall objectives of the Bombardier’s commitments to the Canadian, US and foreign Governments for current and future defense programs. The incumbent will lead the Bombardier Offsets team in areas of Industrial and Technological Benefits, Value Proposition and Industrial Regional Benefits.

  • Manage Offsets for US, EU, Canadian IRB and VP/ITB requirements across Bombardier Inc’s defense programs.
  • Execute administration duties including the submission of monthly and yearly reporting delivery documents in support of various defense programs.
  • Provide coordination, planning, and execution for Offsets/VP/ITB commitments on major projects for Bombardier’s products.
  • Develop and produce Offsets/ITB/VP proposal documents in support of bids for new programs requiring ITB/VP submissions.
  • Coordinate activities from Sales, Bid’s & Proposal’s, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain to identify, plan and ultimately meet all Bombardier Offset IRB and VP/ITB commitments.
  • Provide contract administrative support, including schedules, spread sheets, configuration management/document management support, and submission of contracted deliverables for Bombardier programs.
  • Contribute to proposals to ensure offset obligations are properly addressed in proposals. Provide support with regards to Offsets/VP/ITB commitments that includes support to proposals, marketing and internal reporting.
How to thrive in this role?
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree or Equivalent
  • You have ten (10) years’ experience managing Offset, Industrial and Technological Benefits (VP/ITB Obligations) or equivalent on major defense programs.
  • You have experience in contract administration, military defense procurement/programs, program management, military defense procurement/programs, configuration and document management.
  • You have strong writing skills to produce Contractual; Project Management and Bid & Proposal documentation (a must).
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills that instill confidence and trust among clients and internal teams.
  • You have minimum five (5) years’ experience in managing a team
  • Due to the nature of our work qualified candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a US, Canadian or other security clearances as required
